Many young people find achieving a DofE Award life-changing. A fun adventure and major challenge, three progressive Award levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and a wide range of activities offer endless possibilities to anyone aged 14 to 24. The DofE is open to young people aged 13.5-24 and is available at three levels:

• Bronze Award – For those aged 13.5 and over
• Silver Award – For those aged 15 and over
• Gold Award – For those aged 16 and over

Bronze Award

To gain this award the following requirements must be completed:

• Volunteering for at least six months.
• Physical for at least three months.
• Skills for at least three months.
• Plus a further three months in Volunteering, Physical or Skill
• Expedition 2 days 1 Night

Silver Award

To gain this award the following requirements must be completed:

• Volunteering for at least six months.
• Physical for at least three months.
• Skills for at least three months.
• Plus a further three months in Physical or Skill
• Expedition 3 days 2 Nights

Gold Award

To gain this award the following requirements must be completed:

• Volunteering for at least twelve months.
• Physical for at least six months.
• Skills for at least six months.
• Plus a further six months in Physical or Skill
• Expedition 4 days 3 Nights
• Residential 5 days 4 Nights
